Children’s Peace Monument

Dedicated to Sadako Sasaki and the child victims of the A-bomb

The Children’s Peace Monument stands for all the children who died in the atomic bombing. Millions of paper cranes surround the monument. Students often bring paper cranes and hold prayer ceremonies here on their school field trips.
